Volunteer

Giving back to our community is an essential part of enhancing our recovery experience.  Inside Shift: A Peer Recovery Network, there are plenty of opportunities for you to get involved as a volunteer!  Here are a few ways you can make a difference and have a lasting impact on someone’s life, including your own.

SHIFT is launching its first Recovery Coach training this fall.  Come and learn how to be a Recovery Coach.  You will learn how to help someone new to recovery put together a recovery plan that is tailored specifically to their individual needs.  You will be able to give back to your community in a very powerful way.  Requires a one year commitment for this opportunity.

 

PEER LED SUPPORT GROUP FACILITATOR

Do you want to start your own support group?  Peer led support group facilitators are trained by staff of the Dunshee house to facilitate recovery based support groups with your goals in mind.  Facilitators have a one year commitment to their support group.
